All of our graduate programs in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering are offered through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering which combines the research strengths and resources of Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. At the master’s level, we offer the following degrees: Master of Applied Science (Aerospace), Master of Applied Science (Materials) and Master of Applied Science (Mechanical). Admission to the thesis-based MASc program is conditional on a faculty member agreeing to supervise your thesis. It is the applicant’s responsibility to acquire a supervisor.

*You should apply for admission for either Fall or Winter. We do not offer courses in the Summer (May to August) term. Applying to Summer term is only possible if you have already arranged with a professor to undertake either a Directed Study or an Independent Study.
