The Government will benefit from additional expertise to accelerate the country’s development agenda under the Reform Support Team project, financed by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Today the Government declares a state of alert in the energy sector, for a period of 60 days, in connection with the external situation. The measure is a preventive one, intended to protect domestic consumption and maintain the stability of the energy system. The Government will continue to cover 70% of the cost of agricultural insurance policies from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment. A decision to this effect was adopted today by the Cabinet of Ministers.
