Why This Day Matters
Across Canada, people are asking deeper questions about faith, identity, and meaning, while churches long for renewal, encouragement and shared purpose.
Gospel Alive Day is intentionally designed to foster Christian unity across Canada. It invites us to recognize how the gospel is alive through the lives and expressions of Christians across the country—inspiring, encouraging, and strengthening the Church.
When churches unite in worship, testimony, and shared declaration, the Church speaks with one voice, demonstrating that the gospel continues to bring light, unity, and hope to our nation.
What is Gospel
Alive Day?
A shared national day, celebrated locally.
Gospel Alive Day invites churches across Canada to celebrate the gospel together on the same Sunday, while staying rooted in their local communities. It’s not a conference or centralized event, but an opportunity to join in a shared moment of unity.
Churches lead their own celebrations in ways that fit their context, using shared resources to support participation. As part of this shared moment, each church is invited to include the special “The Gospel Alive” video in their service. It’s just a few minutes long and fits easily into any service.
Additional celebration is optional, allowing each church to participate in a way that fits their community.

How Your Church Can Join Gospel Alive Day
Participation is simple and flexible! Every church can join the celebration on June 28, 2026. Here’s how:
1. Register Your Church
Sign up to indicate your church is joining Gospel Alive Day.
Be part of a growing movement of churches across Canada celebrating that the Gospel is alive.
Once registered, you’ll receive your video and full toolkit, available in Spring 2026.
2. Share the Video in Your Service
Play the special “The Gospel Alive” video in your services on or around June 28. It’s just a few minutes long and fits easily into any service.
This shared moment unites churches across Canada in proclaiming that the Gospel is alive in our communities.
3. Customize Your Celebration
Make the day your own in a way that fits your church.
You might just share the video and reflect on the gospel in Canada, or you might decide to invite the community to your special celebration.

Gospel Alive Day Toolkit
When you register, you’ll receive a complete toolkit of free, ready-to-use resources that make participation simple, meaningful, and customizable. Materials will be available in Spring 2026.
Toolkit Includes:
- The Gospel Alive Video – a short celebration that the Gospel is alive in Canada
- Optional Celebration Assets – invitation templates, service slides, social posts & email blurbs, and additional creative assets
Tip / Encouragement: Many churches are wanting to add their stories to how the gospel is alive in Canada. Consider testimonies or sharing Gospel stories as part of your celebration. Share Your Gospel Story
Examples of How Your Church Can Participate
Simple Participation
Show the “The Gospel Alive” video during your service. This video is a short celebration that the Gospel is Alive in Canada.
Add to Your Service
Along with the video, add something within your service like a special prayer for Canada, a testimony from your community, or a gospel-focused message.
Celebration Gathering
Extend the celebration beyond the service with baptisms, a BBQ or community meal, share your gospel story booth, and/or cupcakes and coffee.

God is at work across Canada. Through Gospel Alive Day, the Church celebrates that the gospel is alive and that the good news of Jesus continues to bring hope to every generation.
Churches and individuals are invited to share stories that reveal how God is at work and the gospel is alive across Canada.
Frequently asked questions
Participation in Gospel Alive Day is completely free! Churches can register and access all digital resources at no cost.
Absolutely not! Each church can celebrate in a way that works best for its community. We provide resources, ideas, and inspiration, but you get to design a celebration that reflects your congregation while still joining with the national Church.
June 28 is our shared national day of celebration, but we understand schedules vary. If another Sunday works better, you’re still part of the movement. The important thing is celebrating that the gospel is alive in your community!
Not at all! Gospel Alive Day is for the Church across Canada, welcoming all congregations who want to join in unity and celebration.
Once you register, we’ll keep you updated with resources as they become available. This includes digital resources, a celebratory & inspirational day-of- video, and more — all designed to help you celebrate as part of a national movement.
