The <marquee> HTML tag is deprecated, however, how can you deprecate something unofficial?
I am functioning within normal parameters.
This marquee consists of a nested <div>.
It's kind of a strange feeling to grow resentful of the programming language you first learnt, in my case Python.
This marquee is a pain to tune because the more text I add, the faster it gets, so I need to tweak the speed or it gets too fast.
You could call it a stream of consciousness.
Atomic batteries to power, turbines to speed.
This marquee is a study of the human ability to waste time, both myself in writing and you in reading.
If you're still writing raw C in 2026, you deserve a cup of coffee, overflown.
Part of me is embarrassed that I even have a collage page - for some reason the idea of people seeing what music I listen to makes me uncomfortable.
That previous sentence added a whole ten seconds to the marquee length.
This may age poorly, but I am reasonably confident that in the next US general election, the opposition will win.

If you know of a good open source dot matrix banner creator, also let me know.
Don't ask why I tested, but you can't add images to this marquee (emoji work fine though; 🖖).
Part of me misses the days before the gun emoji became a water pistol, though thankfully my priorities in life are quite straight so I don't care too much.
