This app is used to control a WiFi connected GoPro camera.
When camera control is started, the app constantly monitors the device's current location. When the device is within a certain radius of one or more preset triggers, the app sends a command to GoPro camera to either start or stop recording a video.
It was primarily developed for use on a motorcycle, where it is inconvenient to have to stop and fiddle with the camera, especially if it's not mounted within easy reach. But it can also be used in any situation in which you set the start/stop points in advance and then let the app handle recording control for you, for example on a ski slope, while bicycling,...
You can set triggers to start, restart, stop and toggle recording. Triggers can also be set to activate only when you pass the point in a certain direction.
Unfortunately GoPro has changed the API on the Hero4 and the application does not work with that camera.
Context-sensitive help is available on every screen of the application.
The app only requests permissions that are absolutely necessary for the correct functioning of the app.
The app does not collect any personal information, does not collect any usage statistics and does not send any information anywhere else.
The app does not and never will include any form of advertising.
Before downloading this app please make sure that you can connect to your GoPro camera via WiFi and that you can control it remotely with an Android app. You will find detailed instructions on the GoPro web site.

Changes: Commands sent to camera and various other events are shown in notification area. You can save the notification texts to directory GoProGPS on SD card by clicking on the notifications and clicking on the Save button on the expanded notification list.
Because of relatively large power drain, WiFi reconnection only scans for camera for around 5 minutes. After that you need to initiate connection manually - go to home screen and start GoPro GPS again.
Minor bugfixes and improvements.
