Hello everyone!

The polls are now closed, and here is the result:

"Would you like the tutorials in this community to ONLY be tagged, OR tagged AND added to the community memories?"

Only tagged: 55.4%
Both tagged AND added to the memories: 44.6%

and

"Tags for each tutorial maker that posts tutorials here, or not?"

Yes: 80.5%
No: 19.5%

So it seems like you want the tutorials posted here to ONLY be tagged and NOT added to the memories, and you WANT tags for every tutorial maker that posts here, but since there was such a close call between....;

"Only tagged" and "Both tagged AND added to the memories" (55.4% vs. 44.6%)

.....this is what I will do:

As I said in my original post "If I were to add the posts to the memories I'm limited to only add each post to 5 categories and I would not be able to be as thorough because of that limit, and I wouldn't be able to archive the tutorials under as many categories as it needs."

Adding each post to the memories takes alot of time, and it will take even more time when I'm forced to squeeze every post into only 5 categories.

I'm a very neat person and I want this community to function and be as user friendly as possible i.e I want people to be able to find what they are looking for right away and not be forced to go looking and guessing where things might be. I've made the tags very detailed and thorough (as you might have noticed (see the sidebar of the community)), and as I said I can't make the memories that functional, so I have decided on this:

Instead of creating a tags for each tutorial maker here, I will create alphabetical categories in the memories, like this:

Tutorial makers: a-b-c

Tutorial makers: d-e-f

Tutorial makers: g-h-i

Tutorial makers: j-k-l

Tutorial makers: m-n-o

Tutorial makers: p-q-r

Tutorial makers: s-t-u

Tutorial makers: v-w-x

Tutorial makers: y-z

And then add every tutorial by each maker under the appropriate category (by the username (first letter)), with a short description of each tutorial.

This way I will be able to add the tutorial to the memories, without having to deal with the category limit, and also keep the tag list from becoming huge ;)

I hope to have every tutorial added to the memories within a few days, and I will only add those of you who have posted your tutorial. (logically enough ;)) So as of now I will add your tutorials to the mems, and of course the tags, as soon as you post your tutorial(s).
