1. Where were you on September 8, 1966? Did you watch the first episode of Star Trek that evening? If you are too young -- did your parents watch it?
I wasn't born yet, I don't think. I don't think my parents watched it either.

2. Who is your favorite Star Trek captain, and why?
Captain Picard. He was diplomatic and that, and really intellectual and such. :|

3. Who is your favorite Star Trek character of all time, and why?
Lt. Comm. Data, obviously. He was super smart and weird and an android. I've always found him really relatable. He's also the reason for my life-long obsession with robots and AI. :3

4. Which Star Trek series is your favorite, and why?
Star Trek: The Next Generation. I dunno. I just grew up watching it, and when I was a kid, it was the only thing that gave me hope for the future. I like the other ones too, but NG is my favourite.

5. Which Star Trek movie is your favorite, and why?
Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. I just do.

1. Can you remember the first book you read?
It was a Winnie the Pooh book. Disney Pooh, not A.A. Milne Pooh. It don't remember anything about it beyond that.

2. What was the last book (electronic or otherwise) you read?
Catcher in the Rye. I actually really liked it. I'm not sure what to read now.

3. Do you read for enjoyment, work or both?
Both. But mostly enjoyment.

4. What is your favorite genre of book to read?
Sci-fi, psychological, fantasy, all ages/kids stuff, slice of life, etc. I like all kinds of things.

5. If you could visit your younger self, what book would you tell yourself to steer clear of?
No. I don't really have any literary regrets. :|

1. What is the last animated feature that you saw and enjoyed?
I just rewatched The End of Evangelion, so there's that.

2. What cartoons did you watch growing up? Favorite characters?
There were a lot. I don't really want to get into this, mostly because it will take all day and I'm really tired. I've always been fascinated by animation and story telling, you see, and so cartoons were always a big deal to me. I've been thinking about The Tick a lot lately, so I think I should mention The Tick.

There's a lot of favourite characters too, but on the Tick, it was the Tick and Brainchild. :3

3. Is there an animated show/film that you dislike?
Um... Probably. I know there are things I don't like, but I can't think of anything.

4. How do you think animation could be innovative in the future?
...I don't know.

5. Would you post a link to an animated short or film that you think is particularly special or interesting?
The Cat Piano. It's really well done, and narrated by the Nick Cave. :3
(But just be aware, it's really dark. It's about a cat piano and narrated by Nick Cave. So yeah. There's nothing graphic, though, but there's some screaming.)

1. What is your fondest memory of something related to the stars or space?
I don't know. I don't really have one. I just love space and stars. They're amazing and fascinating and I love them as much as robots (which is to say a lot).

2. What is a celestial body that you find particularly interesting?
The Andromeda Galaxy. It's the closest galaxy to us and so it's a source of great fascination to me.

3. When you look at the night sky, what thoughts cross your mind?
That it's awesome and ancient and I have to know everything about it and I have to go there.

4. Have you ever seen anything weird or inexplicable up there?
One time I was walking home with a friend and we saw a ufo. It was a dark, circular object with a light under it, and was moving unnaturally. I don't know what it was.

5. Would you live in space or on another planet?
Hells yeah.

The comic is slowly coming along, as comics are generally very slow to make. I've also been trying to tech myself 3d software, though this has proved mostly an exercise in frustration. But whatever. Things are slowly getting done, so that's good. Of course, I'm also going through another bout of insomnia, so everything's going slower than it would normally, so yeah.

Anyway, I haven't done an art post in the last couple of months, so here is some art.

I'm currently rewriting the comic this month with Camp Nano. I'm really sick of writing this thing, but it needs a rewrite so it's not complete rubbish. Though, luckily, it's almost halfway over.

1. What is your favorite novel to screen adaptation?
The Secret of NIMH, maybe.

2. What novel to screen adaptation did you hate, when you had liked the book?
James and the Giant Peach. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adored the animation. I just don't know why everyone who turns Roald Dahl books into films has to change everything about them. And not just the parts that wouldn't work on screen. I mean literally everything except the basic plot. It just never made sense to me why they would do this, especially since his books were exactly what kids liked.

3. When was the last time you went to the cinema and what did you watch?
Wreck It Ralph and Skyfall. I don't get to the cinema very often.

4. Sugared or salted popcorn?
At home, I like sugar popcorn. At the cinema, I like salted. No butter, though.

5. Cinema or DVD?
Both are good.
