Everything your family will need,
in one safe place.
Glenvault is a private vault for your important documents, accounts, and wishes. Three simple ways for the people you choose to get in when they need to.
Three things, kept in one place.
Documents you can't lose, accounts nobody can find without you, and the people who would need to know if you weren't here.
Documents
Wills, deeds, passports, insurance policies, ID cards. Upload anything important and sort it into ten plain categories.
Accounts & assets
Banks, brokerages, retirement, crypto, property. A list of everything you own and where it lives, so nothing gets forgotten.
Family & successors
Add the people you trust: your spouse, your kids, a sibling. Decide who gets what, and how: always-on, request-and-wait, or only if something happens.
Glenvault notices the things you'd rather not.
Every document you add is quietly read by Glenvault to pick out the type, the dates, the policy numbers. You get a plain reminder a month before anything expires. Included on Personal and Family Office.
- ✓ Spots expiring passports, visas, insurance and registrations
- ✓ One plain-English reminder, well ahead of time. No spam.
- ✓ Edit or remove any tag in a single click
- ✓ Processed once on upload, then discarded. Never used for training.
Three ways to pass it on.
You decide who gets in, and how. Pick one, or mix all three across the different people in your life.
Always in.
Some people you trust completely. Your spouse, a sibling. They always have access to whatever you choose to share, just like a joint safe at home.
They ask. You decide.
Someone can request access at any time. You're notified instantly. If you don't decline within 2 weeks, they're let in automatically.
If you're not here.
Glenvault emails you on a rhythm you set. One click and the vault stays sealed. Miss the email, and the follow-ups, and access unlocks for the people you named.
Mark asks for access.
You always hear first.
The day Mark requests access, you get an email. Decline it if it isn't right. Ignore it and the countdown runs. Mark sees the same dates you do, so nobody is left guessing.
Mark requests access
From his own Glenvault, or from a link you've shared with him.
You're notified instantly
We email you. Decline from the link, or let the countdown run. Every request is logged.
The 14-day countdown
If you do nothing, Mark gets in on day 14. You can adjust the wait window any time.
He sent this request 12 minutes ago. If you don't respond within 14 days, access will be granted on June 12, 2026.
Mark's note: "Just checking in case I ever need the cabin deed."
Security, plainly stated.
How your data is actually protected, written without the jargon.
Encrypted at rest
Each document is encrypted with its own key (libsodium secretbox, XSalsa20-Poly1305) before it's written to storage, and travels over TLS in transit, so the stored data isn't readable on its own.
Sensitive actions are logged
Document views, succession triggers and billing events are written to an append-only log you can request at any time.
You own your exit
Export everything as a standard .zip any time — open it with any computer. If Glenvault ever goes away, your vault doesn't.
Three plans. Pick yours.

In more than one family? Create another from the switcher and move between them with one click — your own household and, say, your parents'.
Honest answers.
How do I add a document?
Drag a file anywhere in the app. We classify it on the way in (passport, will, insurance policy, deed, etc.), pull out the dates and ID numbers that matter, file it under the right category, and assign it to the right person on your family. You can also click "Add document" to drop a batch and watch each one upload with its own progress bar.
What happens when I delete a document?
It disappears from your vault immediately. A background job removes the encrypted file from storage shortly after. We don't keep an archive: once it's gone we cannot recover it.
What if I miss a check-in by accident?
Nothing dramatic. You get gentle email reminders before the window closes. Past the window, your protocol enters a multi-day release delay during which you (or anyone with admin access) can cancel it from the app. Only after that delay does access actually unlock for the people you nominated.
Can I belong to more than one family?
Yes. Plenty of people have one vault for their own household and another for their parents or in-laws. The dropdown at the top of the app lets you switch between them with one click. A small icon next to the family name (visible only to admins) takes you to settings where you can rename it.
Who can see what?
Each family member has a role: Admin, Contributor (read + add), or Read-only. Only admins can delete documents, invite or remove members, or delete the family itself. Every action on the family is recorded in an audit log you can review at any time.
What happens when a successor needs to get in?
It depends on the protocol you set up. With a check-in protocol, access unlocks if you stop confirming you're around. With a request-access protocol, a trusted person can request access by email and you have a rejection window (you choose how long) to veto before access is granted. Anyone who gets access this way gets three months free to read everything and download a full .zip export.
What does AI tagging do?
When you upload a document, it is sent once to a third-party model to identify what it is, the holder name, the issuing country, the document number, and the dates that matter. You get a reminder a month before anything expires. The document is processed once on upload and immediately discarded by the provider, not stored, not used for training. Existing tags stay editable; you can fix anything by hand on the document card.
Can I cancel? What happens to my files?
Yes, any time. Cancelling your subscription doesn't delete your family — you get a one-month grace period during which we email reminders to resubscribe. Whenever you want to walk away, you can export everything as a standard .zip, or delete your family outright from the danger zone.
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Up to 10 documents, encrypted at rest, no card needed. When you outgrow it, Personal is $10 a month and includes two people on the family; Family Office is $20 a month and includes up to 20.
The vault every family meant to set up.
Start free in two minutes. Add your will, your accounts, and the people who'd need to know.
