GiveMeTac

GiveMeTac 1.1.1.0 is a program that puts a metronome in your computer. A metronome is a device commonly used by musicians.

It produces a regulated pulse, that aids musicians to keep a regular tempo. It can´t be used for some rhythms, like samba. Some musicians don´t use metronomes at all. In GiveMeTac you can adjust the Tempo (from 30 to 400), activate or deactivate the Beat (a sound that´s played periodically, at a regulated time period), you can adjust the volume for the metronome sounds, and switch between 4 different beat styles.
Once you adjust all the settings, you can start using the metronome by pressing the "Start" button. You will then hear a sound pulse through the speakers of your computer, and a beat, if it´s activated. Then, if you play and instrument, you can practice with the help of this tool. This way you can adjust the tempo of your execution, correcting the passages that you play too fast or too slow. GiveMeTac can be installed and used both in English or French (the author of this program is French).
