we could use some hand-holding to get new devs started and stuff.

also we should maybe promote an open development model a la anarchism.

Strongly agreed wrt something like a CONTRIBUTING.md, and, probably, an ARCHITECTURE.md. I'll try to start writing something up soon-ish.

Heya ! Are there any projects that have good documents like these, to treat as starting points ?
