Reintroduce xdg-shell v5 compatibility

Qt is currently incompatible with xdg-shell, as well as older versions of Gtk+ (up to 3.22), though it is possible to support both.

Supporting both is lots of work, somebody else has to do it.

Not afaik. It just finishes implementing v6.
