Jill Moné-Corallo’s README

PSIRT Manager

This page is intended to help others understand what it might be like to work with me, especially people who haven’t worked with me before.

It’s also a well-intentioned effort at building some trust by being intentionally vulnerable, and to share my ideas of a good working relationship to reduce the anxiety of people who might be on my team.

About me

• Personal - Native New Yorker, current Floridian. I am an avid traveler, foodie, and sports enthusiast. Family oriented, transparent by default, and empathetic always. Can and will always help you plan your next Disney trip. Pet photos are welcome in any conversation (even in Bug Bounty reports).
• Work - I talk about Bug Bounty all day and all night - ask my family. My personal mission is to help make bounty more accessible and that has manifested into the creation of the Glass Firewall conference.

How you can help me

My working style

• I am my most productive in the morning so I try to do deeply focused tasks before lunch.
• My working hours are generally 7:30/8-4 ET where Tuesdays are my exception for later meetings. Tuesdays I’ll either start earlier or take a break during the day to account for later meetings. However see the next point.
• If you need me I will always make time. Do not hesitate to ask me for time.
• I default to written communication, but know that sometimes quick conversations are quicker via verbal chat - so grab a Huddle, Zoom, call whatever works for you.
• I use focus blocks on my calendar heavily.

What I assume about others

• Everyone is busy
• People want to do good work
• Lack of response ≠ lack of care
• Context gaps are normal
• Feedback is meant to help

What I want to earn

• Trust, influence, and the opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes. By delivering consistently and support others, I hope to be someone the team relies on for complex challenges and important decisions.

Communicating with me

• Cut through the fluff and give it to me straight.
• Bring me concerns as soon as you can.
• Start with the TLDR, and give me the space to ask rapid fire questions.

Strengths/Weaknesses

• I put my people first and will always fight for them.
• Have a tendancy to say yes too much and can get a full plate quickly.
• Will check Slack at any and all times of the day and night. I respect other’s boundaries but am working to respect my own.
