Link to compare view for submodules in a merge request

Description

When a merge request contains an update to a submodule, Gitlab currently shows a link to the submodule at the newly selected commit. This is useful, but it would be even more useful to see the diff of the previous submodule version and the new one.

Proposal

Since Gitlab knows what commit the submodule came from, and what it is updated to, I would suggest linking to a compare view between the previous commit and the updated commit. This would make code review much easier across submodules too.
