Current vs. Expected behavior
In the current Git Panel UI, long branch names are aggressively truncated with ellipses. This makes it difficult to distinguish between multiple active branches at a glance without hovering or widening the sidebar to an impractical size.
Expected Behavior
The branch name should be adapt based on the Git Panel width and available space.
