markdown: search highlights in table cells are mispositioned within a single line, for columns 2..N #57229

@dandv

Description

@dandv

Found this bug while testing an Agent thread search patch for #39338.

@timvermeulen: more work for you in #54744 :)

Reproduction steps

  1. Preview the Markdown below
  2. Search for "way"
Search for "way" or "core" and notice the misplaced highlights.

| Requirement | This VM | 3rd column |
|---|:---:|:---:|
| Host filesystem hidden by default | ✅ — only explicit shares | Swaying in the wind |
| Hard CPU-core cap (guest can't see more) | ✅ vCPU pin — guest sees 16 ways | End of the way |
| Single OpenSnitch identity for all egress | ✅ all traffic = `/usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64` | 1st col unaffected |
| Native Wayland app feel on host | ✅ via Waypipe | No way the highlight is off!
| Predictable resource limits under load | ✅ — host always has cores 8-11 | Highway 66 |

Current vs. Expected behavior
