Reproduction steps

Case 1:

1. Insert 100 lines with []
2. Notice that color changes

Note, this doesn't happen for me if you use 50 lines or fewer

Case 2:

I'm assuming this is the same bug, but am including just in case it is not

1. Insert 100 lines with []()
2. Notice that color changes at line 51

Current vs. Expected behavior

Current behavior: Bracket colors change, despite there being no nesting of brackets
Expected: I expect the bracket colors to remain the same
