Description
Summary
After unplugging an external monitor, Zed becomes blurry on the built-in screen.
Description
I plugged in my MBP into an LG monitor (3440x1440 at 100Hz) using USB Type-C. I booted and signed in while connected to the monitor with the lid closed, so the built-in screen was not active.
After unplugging the monitor and switching to the built-in screen, everything in Zed (i.e. both the text as well as the UI) is blurry.
The built-in screen has a default resolution of 1440x900, but I am using the More Space setting of 1680x1050.
Killing WindowServer or logging out and back in does not fix this, unlike most things related to display resolution on macOS. Even restarting does not fix this. The only way I fixed this was by toggling to the Default resolution, then back to More Space.
Steps to reproduce:
- Plug in an external monitor, boot, and log in
- Unplug the monitor and switch to the built-in screen
- Start Zed
Expected Behavior: Zed is not blurry
Actual Behavior: Zed is blurry
