10000% Thanks for remembering about this. But the docs need to be scanned for references to remove, and replaced with links to virtual-tiff. |

I used grep and claude to search for references, but none came up apart from historical references in the changelog. The table mentioning this parser was previously updated in #810. |

The kerchunk TIFF parser was never functional in VirtualiZarr (e.g., #291, #526), which prompted the development of virtual-tiff. Since the kerchunk tiff wrapper was never publicly documented or tested, I propose that we remove it from the code base.
