nuget supports READMEs using markdown by now - quite some time, actually. All it takes is a file added as docs/README.md to the package.

We could add the default README but it would probably nicer to have individual READMEs with descriptions and examples specific to the package.

Not all markdown is supported, There is a blog post wtth a template that looks reasonable.
