Summary of Changes

Hello @waruqi, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses a specific issue related to the detection of the Emscripten SDK within the build system. The change ensures that the emcc.py script, a crucial component of the Emscripten toolchain, can be reliably located even when it resides in a subdirectory relative to the main SDK path. This enhancement prevents potential build failures or misconfigurations stemming from an inability to find the necessary Emscripten tools.

Highlights

  • Emscripten SDK Detection: Improved the detection logic for the Emscripten SDK by ensuring that the emcc.py executable is searched for within common subdirectories, mirroring the search behavior for the emcc executable.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Changelog
  • xmake/modules/detect/sdks/find_emsdk.lua
    • Modified the find_file function call for emcc.py to include the suffixes parameter, directing it to search within predefined subdirectories like 'emscripten'.
Activity
  • No human activity (comments, reviews) has been recorded on this pull request yet.

Code Review

This pull request fixes a bug in the Emscripten SDK detection logic. By adding the suffixes parameter to the find_file call for emcc.py, the search for this file now correctly includes subdirectories, making it consistent with the search for the emcc executable. This is a good correction that should improve the reliability of emsdk detection. The change is correct and I have no further comments on it.
