  • Before adding new features and new modules, please go to issues to submit the relevant feature description first.
  • Write good commit messages and use the same coding conventions as the rest of the project.
  • Please commit code to dev branch and we will merge into master branch in feature
  • Ensure your edited codes with four spaces instead of TAB.

Summary of Changes

Hello @waruqi, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on enhancing the project's compatibility and testing strategy for Alpine Linux. It primarily involves adjusting existing test scripts to conditionally skip certain tests when running on Alpine, thereby streamlining the CI process and preventing failures related to environmental differences or resource constraints. Additionally, a minor update to an xmake.lua file hints at forward compatibility with upcoming xmake versions.

Highlights

  • Alpine CI Adjustments: This pull request introduces modifications to the project's test suite and build configurations to better accommodate Alpine Linux within the continuous integration environment.
  • Test Exclusions: Several tests have been updated to explicitly skip execution on Alpine Linux, addressing potential compatibility issues or resource limitations specific to this distribution.
  • Xmake Compatibility: A change in xmake.lua adds an on_load hook to import core.project.project, preparing for future xmake v3.x behavior regarding ninja policies.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request adds support for Alpine Linux in the CI by disabling a couple of tests that are not compatible with this environment. This is a standard and effective way to handle platform-specific test configurations. I've also included one minor suggestion to improve the code clarity in one of the modified test files.

The package argument in this on_load function is not used. It can be removed to make the code slightly cleaner and signal that the function does not depend on the package object.
