I plan to apply this for 3.1.0 and will try to test it myself, but any testing on the systems with GStreamer 1.0 (either using the mediaplayer sample or your own code using wxMediaCtrl) would be very welcome, TIA!

I was testing it here with the mediaplayer sample btw, but only the 1.x part. I don't have any system with 0.10 anymore.

I've tested it under Debian Jessie with, first, only 0.10 installed and then 1.0 installed as well and it worked fine with both versions (the only slight annoyance was that I had to force rebuilding wxmedia library after reconfiguring as this didn't even touch setup.h, but this shouldn't be a problem in practice, I think), thanks!
