It's been in the docs for a while so thought I'd start tracking the progress of getting the plugin merged into core before v1 arrives with the idea of having a more advanced filtering system in for v2. In my mind, the following needs to be done based on what exists in the plugin and works as of 0.10.x:

• add input fields
• register types
• map fields
• add tests
• update documentation
