wp-cli seems to always only access the download server of WordPress and not to use the download server of the manufacturer when it comes to paid plug-ins. This leads to errors such as "version higher than expected" because plug-in manufacturers often use the same technical name for paid versions on their own download server.

Is my assumption true that wp-cli accesses only the download server of WordPress and does not read the required server?
