We have a known issue for alignment options on Media & Text. Currently their effect is not observable on Landscape mode when media & text is horizontally aligned. We received some feedback on Beta testing pointing that this can be confusing for users. So we decided to remove alignment buttons all together from Media & Text until they are fixed.

Plus, we decided making it horizontally stacked for all screen widths until we have proper borders at the end of Inner Blocks work. Otherwise it can be hard to understand which paragraph block belongs to media text.
