hum currently requires that redirect URLs take the form [a-z]/.+. The trailing slash and ID is required. It would be nice if the ID could be omitted, particularly in cases where you want to redirect to the root of a provider site. For example, @tantek outsources his wiki to PBWorks, so all ttk.me/w/* URLs redirect to the relevant page on his PBWorks wiki. However, you can also simply go to http://ttk.me/w which will redirect to the homepage of his wiki. Hum should support similar behavior.
