When a user creates a ticket using the /support command, the bot will prompt for their work email, which is used solely to create a user account and retrieve a user ID for communicating with support agents. No emails will be sent to this address; it is used only to match the user to their customer ID within the group chat and to bind the email to their Telegram account. Since Unthread does not provide an API to update user accounts by user ID, if a Telegram user needs to change their associated account, we can offer a command to update it at the Telegram level—this effectively creates a new user account and generates a new user ID, which is then re-linked to the Telegram user.
