Is it time to declare v1 and remove the old factory methods? #98
Description
The SDK version is currently 0.10.2, but the SDK is in active use in production environments. Is now the right time to declare a v1?
Also, since the SDK is not yet v1, how will we decide when it is ok to remove the code for the old factory methods and the TCP connection? If we are not actively using these ourselves anymore, maybe it's time to take them out and not carry the burden of the keeping the deprecated functions working.
