When making large songs using the VST, one usually runs out of MIDI channels as they are limited to 16. One simple solution would be to enable midi keyboard splitting so that single MIDI channel could be used to trigger 2 or even more Sointu instruments.

For each split, we would define the split point. For each part of the keyboard, we would define transpose and whether that part of the keyboard also sends velocity messages.
