Describe the bug

If UI is refreshed manually, users can no longer run tests unless the Vitest process is restarted

Reproduction

1. Run tests in test/browser with pnpm test-fixtures
2. Run dom test by clicking on "Run" button
3. Refresh the page, run dom test again (might take a few tries)
4. See the screen hangs
