The authorization stubs and checks are quite long and we might want to think about creating a better way of writing them instead of trying to add unnecessary line length by splitting them on multiple lines.

This should allow us to keep the style somewhat consistent in all PRs.
If someone knows a way to get the lint failures to show up as a separate test besides TravisCI that wouldn't spam with lots of comments like HoundCI does, and that would be free for open source, I'd be very interested to hear about it.
