Hi @vashek I saw the work you have done to fix some issues in PyPDF2 across some repositories. Last few weeks, I was looking for an alternative fork which is maintained (at least bug fixes), I ended up forking the project and working on a couple of issues on my own. If you are interested in creating fork project together it would be wonderful. |

There are already at least two forks (PyPDF3 and PyPDF4), neither of which seems to be maintained. I am afraid we would just end up creating PyPDF5 with the same fate, as I don't think I'd be able to dedicate the time it would need. (You can see it from my reaction time.) I suggest you have a look at pikepdf, though. I'd probably switch to it myself if I wasn't sort of stuck with PyPDF2 for historical reasons. (At some point I probably will, anyway.) |
