Simultaneous Middle and Right Mouse Button Support on Windows 11 ARM in UTM #7068

Description

@rubert34

Hi team,

I’m running Windows 11 ARM on a Mac M1 via UTM and encountering an issue with simultaneous mouse button inputs. When I hold down both the middle and right buttons, the middle-click persists as expected, but the right-click doesn’t maintain—only the initial click registers before dropping off. This makes it difficult to perform actions that require both buttons to be held down at the same time.

I realize this use-case might be niche, but I suspect that fixing it could be a low-return, low-investment improvement—likely involving minimal changes to the input handling code. Even though the immediate impact may be limited to a subset of users, the potential effort required might be relatively small.

I’m new to submitting GitHub issues. Could you please advise on best practices for submitting this feature request? I’m happy to provide further details or assist with testing if needed.

Should I upload any log? Which ones?

Thank you for your time and consideration!

PS: I use a bluetooth mouse connected to MacOS.

Configuration: ARM64 (aarch64) / QEMU 9.1 ARM Virtual Machine
UTM Version: 4.6.4 (107)
macOS Version: Sonoma 14.6.1
Mac Chip: M1
