Goals:

• Building off issue Merging controls from multiple catalogs in (viewing) a profile #67, we need to design and document the functional requirements for the merging and modifying of layers
  • For merging, determine how customization of the merging process will work
  • For modifying, ensure that the ability to fully customize the resulting model is available (edit controls, modifying existing controls, adding and editing control enhancements, matching text, customizing various parameters, adding parameters for new text)
• A greater focus will be on documenting functional requirements for making modifications

Acceptance Criteria:

• Documented in a level of detail understandable to a technical user the functional requirements for merging and modifying layers
• Team is able to verify that all needed modification features are documented as functional requirements
