🎯 What: The vulnerability fixed is a Command Injection and Path Traversal vulnerability in the
⚠️ Risk: The potential impact if left unfixed includes overwriting local files, remote code execution through argument injection into
download_agentfunction. Thenameparameter wasn't properly sanitized before being passed into the string formatted URL passed tocurl, and into the local file path.curl, and potentially full system compromise.🛡️ Solution: The fix adds a strict validation check at the start of
download_agent. It ensures thatnameonly contains ASCII alphanumeric characters, dashes (-), and underscores (_). If invalid characters are found, it correctly returns an Error.PR created automatically by Jules for task 13377837737094199574 started by @undivisible
