Solution

Built-in and user-defined LPub command editor. Individual meta commands remain available using the shortcut Ctrl+E.
The currently available auto-complete system for individual meta commands have not been changed.

The snipped management capability is quite powerful in that it virtually allows an entire document header to be stored and added to a file in a single key-combination.

Complete command insert/autocomplete dialogue using Ctrl+Space to select the desired command or to automatically insert the command after typing the 'trigger.'

Individual command insert dialogue using Ctrl+E to select the desired command.
