Description
Subject
Set HTML Part List to use PLI part images - currently using images sourced from peeron.com.
With the current behaviour, when an image does not exist on peeron.com, a broken link or ‘alt’ value is displayed.
Environment
Version of LPub3D - 2.3.8
Operating system - All
Solution
Use LPub3D generated PLI part images to avoid a 'broken image link' or ‘alt value’ being displayed when a part element image does not exist on peeron.com.
With this change, it is now possible to use PLI images rendered by any of the four LPub3D renderers - Native (LeoCAD), LDGLite, LDView and POV-Ray. Part images rendered by the currently selected preferred renderer will be displayed by the generated part list - irrespective of whether the part element is valid or the part element image exists on peeron.com or Bricklink.com. Additionally, LPub3D uses the Bricklink codes extract to process BrickLink or LEGO part element identification. The HTML part list will also indicate when a part element ID was "Not Found" in the Bricklink codes.txt file.

Note: When a part Element is reported Not Found, the most likely cause, assuming valid element(s) do exist for the part, is a mismatch between the LDraw Design ID and BrickLink Item Number. Normally, these values are the same as you can see in the report below. However, in the event they are different, you can manually add a map entry to the exported ld2blcodesxref.lst using the advanced configuration steps to edit the related parameter files - see #196 ADVANCED SETUP section for full details.
