Hi,
Crit seems really interesting, but I have not been able to try it because I use Sapling.
You may not have heard of it, so I would completely understand if supporting it is out of scope. It is basically an alternative SCM that can operate on Git repositories, including pushing to GitHub, while adding features like stacked diffs.
Sapling originated at Meta. It started as a fork of Mercurial (hg), but has since evolved into its own thing.
Its commands are fairly similar to Git, so I suspect support might be reasonably straightforward.
If this is something you find interesting, I would be happy to help test it and report issues.
Thanks.
