Include UCL Iris/RPS publication data with a shortcode: [ucl_iris upi="MBAUM76"]
This plugin lets you embed IRIS/RPS publication data in your site. It is aimed exclusively at UCL (University College London) staff and researchers.
It uses the documented RPS (Research Publication Service) API (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/how-to/research-it/how-to-embed-rps) to request a researcher's publication list and include it on a page.
- Go to edit the post or page which should include the publication list
- Add a shortcode which includes the researcher's UPI, eg:
[ucl_iris upi="MBAUM76"]
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/wp-ucl-iris-embeddirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress
- Look up the UPI for any UCL staff/academics whose references you want to embed
- Include the shortcode on a post or page where required, eg:
[ucl_iris upi="MBAUM76"]
