I've made a repo with all files necessary to make a submission to Flathub: https://github.com/eaglesemanation/flathub/tree/affine
I'd love for developers to have control over this distribution method, so I'm not making a PR myself. Instead I'd like you to fork it and follow this process: https://docs.flathub.org/docs/for-app-authors/submission#submission-pr. I'd be glad to help with getting it merged.

One thing of note - I've added x-data-checker section into flatpak manifest. This will be picked up by external-data-checker. So whenever there is a new release in this repo - it will automatically open a PR to flathub repo with new version.
