When attempting to search the PDF file, the cursor jumps to the editing pane after each letter is typed.

Environment

• TeXstudio: 4.9.2
• Qt: 6.10.2 R
• OS: Mac Tahoe 26.3
• TeX distribution: Texlive/Mactex

Expected behavior

That one can simply type the search string without jumping to the editing pane after every letter.

Actual behavior

When attempting to search the PDF file, the cursor jumps to the editing pane after each letter is typed. This happens in all cases, so a minimum working example is not relevant.

How to reproduce

• Right click in the PDF pane.
• Go to "Show" and then click on "Search"
• Begin to type a search string and watch the cursor dance! :-)
