Describe the feature and the current behavior/state

When I have editors in both split views and open another document (file) I expect that the editor for this file opens in that view where the editor with the highlighted tab is. Currently the new editor always appears in the second view.

By this feature moving editors between splits can be reduced, and from my point of view behavior would be more "natural".
