Summary

This issue follows up on work done in #9750. Once the relevant metrics for identifying and quantifying the storage workloads are defined, we need to implement them.

Problem Definition

It is hard to understand the storage workloads without proper quantification and measurements. Metrics introduced by #9750 should enable us to gather a clear understanding of the access patterns and storage usage within Tendermint.
