We have officially deprecated python2 this month, so it is time to remove all of the py2/3 compatibility code. This issue tracks the task.

All tests and library code should be scrubbed of code pertaining to making Streamlit work in Python2. We can also reconsider some of the version pins for dependencies in Pipenv.

Pipenv.lock files should be regenerated.
