Who We Are

We're Oire Software — André and Nathalie Polykanine, a husband-and-wife team of software engineers and accessibility specialists based in Strasbourg, France. Our main focus has always been in building software that is intuitive, accessible and usable by everyone including disabled people. André has been blind since birth — he doesn't guess what works with assistive technology, he lives it every day.

What We Build

We build both open-source and commercial software and libraries. By supporting us, you make it possible for us to build more free and open-source products.

Software

• SIC! — Simple Image Converter, a fast and intuitive image conversion tool

Libraries

• SharpSync — A .NET file synchronization library with bidirectional sync and conflict resolution
• NetFlux — A .NET client for the REST API of Miniflux, a lightweight web-based RSS reader
• Iridium — A PHP security library for encrypting data, hashing passwords, and managing secure tokens

Everything we build is tested with real assistive technologies — JAWS, NVDA, and Narrator.
