Instagram is locking down their API, and /users/self/feed (for group_id=FRIENDS) and /media/popular (for ALL) are both on the chopping block. they'll continue allowing them for certain use cases, but those don't really include granary-demo, and they explicitly say their intent is to block feed viewing apps like instagram-atom . :/
