Our app, Finefood, aims to reduce food waste by reminding users about the expiry date of the food they purchase. Submitted this for NUS LifeHack 2022. Built with React Native, Expo Client and Firebase.

Note: Due to the limited timeframe of 24hr to build this app, we did not create a Figma design and instead used Google slides to discuss the rough design.

Prerequisites NodeJS LTS v16.15.0

1. Install node and npm on your machine
2. Clone this repo to your computer
3. Run npm install expo-cli
4. Run npm install to install dependencies
5. Run expo start

Note: To test the app, you will need to either download Expo Go on your phone, or download emulator such as Android Studio (Android) or XCode (IOS)
