Using Shadow to run large simulations often requires writing python scripts to assist in generating shadow configuration files for simulation. Since this is a repetitive task, we want to make it easier to write such scripts. Additionally, there are single-host use-cases (learning and testing shadow, reproducible and time-compressed testing of other software, reproducible builds) where the config file is pretty much a standard minimal setup, and a relatively simple tool could wrap shadow execution to support running shadow without even needing to provide a config file. This milestone represents work in this direction. This is not intended to be a generic "usability" milestone that will hang open forever, so once the work here is considered mature the milestone should be closed.
