Skillshare delivers its class content through a streaming video player that does not offer a built-in download button. Learners who want to revisit lessons during a commute, on a flight, or in any other offline setting have no straightforward way to keep a local copy. Copying the video URL leads to an authenticated stream that cannot be saved with a simple right-click.

Skillshare Downloader is being designed to integrate directly into the browser and intercept the video stream as it plays in the class player. The objective is to let you pick the lessons you need, capture the video at its available quality, and write a clean MP4 file to your local storage so your learning materials travel with you.

1. Install the extension from your browser's extension store once it is released.
2. Navigate to Skillshare and sign in to your account.
3. Open the class page containing the lessons you want to save.
4. Start playback of the lesson so the browser loads the video stream.
5. Click the extension icon to open the popup and view detected lessons.
6. Select individual lessons or choose the entire class for batch download.
7. Pick your preferred resolution if the player offers multiple quality levels.
8. Start the download and the MP4 file will be saved to your local machine.

Will it save class project files and resources? The initial release is focused on video downloads. Supplementary resources like project guides and attachments are not part of the current scope but may be considered later.

Is it free? Pricing details will be announced closer to launch. SERP extensions typically include a free trial period.

Can I download all lessons in a class at once? Batch downloading of an entire class is a planned feature. The exact implementation will depend on how the player handles sequential lesson loading.

This repository is distributed under the proprietary SERP Apps license in the LICENSE file. Review that file before copying, modifying, or redistributing any part of this project.
