Thanks for the RFC! At this time, however, I think that we may want to consider more additions to std::fs (and even specifically DirEntry) as a whole instead of one-by-one. I've created a tracking issue which mentions this drawback of DirEntry and I hope be able to write an RFC to cover a lot of ground in expanding std::fs at some point.

For now though I'm going to close this in favor of the tracking issue.
